Managing Cosmetology

$10,000 1800 Hours (full time 15 months) books and supplies $400

This program will give you the ability to be hairstylist, esthetician (Skin specialist), Nail Tech, or manage or own your own salon. You can also provide any spa service or get certifications to do other services such as permanent makeup, relaxation & hot stone massage, microdermabrasion, and ear piercing. We will train you in management and how to open your own salon or spa.

Hair styling has grown as an industry to include specialties such as: Hair extensions, wig specialist, hair colorist, texture specialist, retail sales and even platform and hair show specialists.

We will provide the basics for you to get stared on your way to a profitable and rewarding career choice.

Cosmetology

$9,500 1500 Hours (full time 12 months) books and supplies $400

This program provides you with the same hair, skin, and nail license. However you cannot own, manage, have an independent contractor license, or work alone with this license. You can however work for a year and take your test for the managers license. This is the type of course offered through our Vocational program at East Liverpool High School. Nail Tech

$1,500 300 Hours (full time 10 weeks) books and supplies $400

With this course you will learn nail techniques in gel, fiberglass, and acrylic. You will also learn to do regular, spa, and French, manicures and pedicures. We will teach you to use a nail drill and air brush painting if you desire. This includes a managers license in which you could own or manage a nail salon. We instruct you in designing your own nail salon from the ground up.
