How do I register?

You may register on any day at the school. Classes begin the first Monday of each month. School is all year round. We recommend that you take a free tour of the school an get any questions that you may have answered. You will need a high school diploma or a GED. If you don't have either one you may take an ability to benefit test, given by the Wonderlic testing.

Where can I find financial help?

bulletThere is a payment plan available which lets you put $500 down and pay for the course in payments of $812.50 mo. for full time students and $406.25 mo. for part time students, you must be paid in full when you are 50% done with the program. You must pay for the kit before       you begin classes. 
bulletYou may contact the One Stop program at the Mahoning, Trumbull, or Columbiana County  offices.   You must fill out a form requesting their  services then you can go through their process to see if you qualify for their assistance, many times they will help or fully pay for     your training  here. bulletIf you qualify for Veterans Assistance, if you or one of your parents was  a veteran, you can contact this web site to apply for their help we are a qualified school for them and they       may help with your funding. bulletWe may have government funds (Pell grants) available in the near future but we are still in the final stages of our accreditation process. Please call for more information.
bulletThere is a financing program available also that will help you spread out your payments so     that you have smaller payments and no money down, or lets you make payments after you have finished the program. Call for more information.

Who is Allowed to Attend?

Anyone may attend if you have a high school diploma, GED, or can pass an ability to benefit test given by the school. You must be over 18 and have proof of age (drivers license or photo ID). The physical demands are for cosmetology that you be able to stand for long periods of time. The nail tech programs require sitting for long periods of time. There could be limitations with anyone who has carpel tunnel syndrome. High School students who are attending East Liverpool High school may sign up for the program in the Jr. year of high school and go through the program on contract with the East Liverpool School District until they are graduated.

The school reserves the right to refuse anyone who has a criminal record or history of non-compliance with schools rules. You must be a legal US citizen and be able to speak English.

You must wear a school uniform (black pants and white shirt) and have your kit in order to get hours.

When do classes start ?

Classes begin on the first Monday of each month. You must attend orientation class before you start classes.  Classes run all year round. You may take scheduled vacations and leave of absences are available for special circumstances. There is a list of holidays in the student handbook which can be down loaded if you wish to have one. Classes will be canceled for bad weather, if East Liverpool Schools are cancelled for bad weather we will be closed also. Watch your local weather station.

You may tour the school or enroll on any day we are open Mon.-Fri. 8-2.
